Inofficial DOSBox build for G3s

You have an oldschool G3 macintosh computer and want to run oldschool PC software and have no idea how to do this? Well DOSBox is the solution for you then!

Unfortunately the official 0.70 build of DOSBox for OSX has all kind of compiler switches set to juice the most performance out of your PowerPC G4 (and up) CPU and obviously doesn't run on old G3 anymore. For those people I provide a precompiled DOSBox binary here. It runs on my INTeL iMac using the rosetta emulation and it is confirmed running on a G3 system aswell. Inside the .DMG file you will find a short instruction on how to compile the binary on your own (in case you have OSX 10.0-10.3).

Ah yes the file can be downloaded with this link: DOSBox G3 0.70.dmg.zip

UPDATE:
There is an update available here (article about dosbox 0.72 for G3).

UPDATE:
For you Mac OS X 10.2 users out there: there is an ancient version of DOSBox 0.61 available that is known for running on old OSX versions. I placed a copy of it here: dosbox-0.63-1.sit1)

1) Seems like this copy is an corrupted archive,
